SUPER BOWL LIX
Bearcat Ties in New Orleans
SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT
Travis Kelce, a proud alumnus of the University of Cincinnati, competed in his fifth Super Bowl. This year, Kelce and his team aimed to make history by securing a third consecutive championship. However, they fell short against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Travis' brother, Jason Kelce, retired from the Eagles in 2023, following an unforgettable matchup against his brother in Super Bowl LVII.
During Super Bowl Media Day, we captured exclusive content showcasing their journey, insights, and impact on the game. Our goal was to build meaningful connections—whether speaking with the Eagles' offensive linemen or diving into behind-the-scenes moments. The recap tied everything together, offering a closer look at the stories that shaped this historic event.
Short, shareable content was our priority. Our goal? Finding that viral clip. One standout moment was when we asked "Honorary Bearcat" Andy Reid about the many Cincinnati Bearcats who have played on his rosters—a unique connection between a future Hall of Famer and Cincinnati football.
LET'S REIGN PODCAST
The 20-episode first season of the Let’s Reign Podcast, hosted by the “Voice of the Bearcats” Dan Hoard, features exclusive interviews, never-before-heard stories, and insights from Bearcats legends, coaches, and current student-athletes. Fans can watch each episode on YouTube, Spotify, and GoBearcats.com or listen on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
We couldn’t pass up the opportunity to capture content for the podcast during Super Bowl week. Dan Hoard caught up with Bryan Cook for a mini episode, adding another unique perspective to the mix.
The Bearcat connections didn’t stop with the Chiefs. Connor Barwin, the Eagles' Head of Football Development and Strategy—and a former Bearcat—joined us for a full-length episode recorded at the Eagles' team hotel.
Both episodes were produced and released before Super Bowl Sunday, giving our fanbase as much content as possible while spotlighting our brand and former players.
Our podcast is available across multiple platforms, and with Let’s Reign still in its first season, promotion is key. Since each episode is filmed, short clips for social media serve as our most effective way to engage fans.
During Super Bowl week, we released two episodes, each accompanied by two promotional clips. By collaborating with our guests on Instagram, we expanded our reach to new audiences.
The Connor Barwin episode was an exception—we released an additional clip after the Eagles' victory. In a standout moment, Barwin stated, “Hopefully the highlight is Sunday when we win the Super Bowl” when asked about the greatest moment of his career. That quote took on a whole new meaning after the Eagles' triumph.
